The era of hands-free home control has arrived! VoicePod Mobile is an intelligent voice assistant and remote control for home automation systems such as Control4. This groundbreaking app lets you control your home automation system completely hands free using natural language speech commands. Just say "Hello VoicePod" or tap the "Talk" button and say your request. VoicePod Mobile lets you control lights, shades, temperatures, AV systems, security and more. You can also select TV channels and music genres by speaking their name. VoicePod Mobile even answers questions, such as “what is the room temperature”. The app recognizes your spoken requests and then uses our VoicePod Cloud Service to figure out your intentions and then tells your control system what to do. Since VoicePod Mobile lets you include a room name within any speech command (e.g. "Dim the lights in the master bedroom please"), each important function in each room of your house is just one step away, making the app a convenient option for whole-home control. You can voice control your home from anywhere - at home or on the road.
VoicePod Mobile even lets you customize command phrases and speech responses right within the app so you can talk to your home using familiar phrases and proper names. The app keeps a running history of your activities and lets you silently repeat recently-issued commands by tapping the screen. You can also set up sorted lists of your favorite commands that can be run with a single tap. All of your customizations are synced through the VoicePod Cloud Service to other Android and iOS devices in your home. Presently, VoicePod Mobile supports Control4 and Crestron systems but drivers for many popular home control systems are coming soon.
This free app download controls a simulated demonstration home and lets you experiment with VoicePod's many features. To control your own home, you must purchase a VoicePod Cloud Service Plan from your home automation dealer and have your dealer configure VoicePod Mobile drivers for your home automation system.
