Pick up a this nostalgia-inducing, 8bit time killer that's great for the train, bus, car or airplane and see just how much farther than your friends you can get in the maze of obstacles, and challenge them to beat your high scores for both coin streaks and total points.
Danger Dragon even has an all-original 2D soundtrack and sound effects reminiscent of trekking through dungeons in the legend of zelda or fighting bosses like bowser.
★ Acquire power ups to help you in your quest but watch out for the tricky power downs:
►Viking Fury - invincibility
►Treasure Magnet - coins float towards you
►Mini Mode - easily avoid obstacles
►Blink - turn visible/invisible in short bursts
►Gravity Flip - fly and flap upside-down
►Fast Forward - fly at double-time the normal speed
★ Dodge basic obstacles (axes and maces) and master the challenging boss puzzles (dagger patterns) but beware: the further you fly the more difficult the journey becomes and the more boss puzzles you encounter.
★ Keep your health bar filled by collecting coins - but if you miss too many coins in a row, your health bar will drop to zero which means game over.
★ Collect multiple coins in a row to earn a coin streak multiplier and increase your reward per coin:
► Each obstacle you pass scores you 1 point
► Each regular coin scores you 2 points
► Coin streaks multiply the score you receive from each regular coin
► Fly true and strong to encounter jackpot coin showers! Each of these smaller coins is worth 1 point
★ Compete against your friends with high scores and longest coins streaks to see who's got the best viking dragon game.
★ The more coins you collect, the more costumes you unlock - collect all 9!
