The fundamental and hidden teachings have arrived from ancient Egypt that have so strongly influenced the philosophies of all races., Nations and people, for several thousand years.
But among these great teachers of Ancient Egypt once one died to whom the teachers acclaimed as "the teacher of teachers." This man, if it was really "man," died in Egypt in the first days. It was known as Hermes Trismegistus. He was the father of hidden wisdom; the founder of astrology; The discoverer of alchemy. The details of the story of his life are lost to history due to the period of the years, although several of the ancient countries played with each other in their allegations for the honor of having supplied their place of birth, and of this thousands of years ago.
The seven hermetic principles, on which all hermetic philosophy is based, are as follows:
1. The principle of mentalism.
2. The principle of correspondence.
3. The vibration principle.
4. The polarity principle.
5. The principle of rhythm.
6. The principle of cause and effect.
7. The gender principle.
These seven principles will be discussed and explained as we proceed with these lessons. It may well take, however, at this point a short explanation of each one.
