Everything you need to hike the seven mountains of Bergen (Norway).
I got the idea for this app during a trip on Ulriken in Bergen, Norway. On that mountain you find a kind of stone monument with seven arrows on. By looking along the arrows you can see right into the tops of The 7 Mountains of Bergen. And I thought: "Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could have a stone like this in your pocket?"
The result was this app. It shows a compass with arrows that point straight towards the tops of Bergen's seven mountains. Just as the monument on Ulriken! You can see what the nearest mountain is called, how high it is, and how far away it is. Perfect when you go the Seven Mountain Trip!
If you hold your phone upright, the compass will be replaced by a camera view. On top of the camera picture you will see markers which shows where the seven mountains are (augmented reality). In addition, you will also see the names of other places that are in front of you. You can take photos directly from the app, and these names will be printed on top of the picture.
Compass and camera is nice, but for a successful trip on the city mountains you also need a map. Therefore, this app will also show you a hiking map, where the route of the 7-mountain trip and the seven tops are marked.
If you click on an arrow or marker, you will see a list of hiking blogs. These are blogs from the Norwegian Mountains Forum (Norsk fjellforum, http://www.fjellforum.no). Do you have your own blog that you want to include? Register it on the forum and it will also appear in the list!
Finally a little note: Traditionally the people of Bergen have never agreed on which of the surrounding mountains that are in fact the famous seven. In this app we use the defination of the Bergen Hiking Association (Bergen turlag), ie .:

However, this must not be seen as a definitive answer, or an inlay in the debate;)
