About this app

A quick reference of some hazardous materials.

Substance Exposure Reference is a quick reference to exposure levels in industrial environments. Kind of like a field/plant operators guide to find the hazardous limits to these materials leaking or otherwise becoming airborne. The list of substances covered in this app come from a coal fired power generating station, but with your help and input, I could add much more content to expand its use.

This app is, of course, not all inclusive. I am asking for input from anyone using this app to email me with other substances that they would like to see added to the list inside of the app.

I know there are many other, better apps out there that do the same thing as this one. The main difference between this app and others is that this app does not require an internet connection to function.

DISCLAIMER!!

Before using any information contained in this app. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the data contained herein. I am not to be held responsible for any use, misuse, or misunderstanding; or otherwise held liable for anything in this app.

The information in this app was copied directly from the following sources:

The Sodium Hypochlorite information came from the New Jersey Dept. of Health website. http://nj.gov/health/eoh/rtkweb/documents/fs/1707.pdf

The Dibasic Acid (DBA) information came from an Invista Company MSDS that was obtained through a Google search. http://www.msdsxchange.com/english/show_msds.cfm?paramid1=2183640

All of the other substances in this app came from the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards. http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npg/default.html

Select a material/chemical from the drop down list and keep safety your #1 priority!

Thanks.
