The mystery of the yellow room
Mathilde Stangerson lives in Glandier Castle. Glandier Castle is a two -story castle, whose owner is the scientist Stangerson. Mathilde sometimes sleeps in a pavilion near the castle, in a yellow -painted room, called "The Yellow Room."
When she goes to sleep one night, she puts safe at the door, and is completely enclosed, which seems suspicious to her father and the old servant, called Uncle Jacques. Shortly after, shouts and shooting are heard in his room, which makes his father alarmed, along with the servant. The two try to open the bedroom door, but they can't. Mathilde continues to shout, and he hears it say "help, help !, help, father, a murderer!" When they manage to open the door, Mathilde is bleeding on the floor and with a blow to the head, but is not culpritable in the room.
