International Conference "Mobile. The Other Way for Online Learning"
On Wednesday 3 December, Bologna hosted the international conference "Mobile. The Other Way for Online Learning" (http://mobilelearning.grenteam.it), promoted by Green Team It Solutions, organized in collaboration with Self PA, the Federate E-learning system of the Emilia-Romagna Region, and under the patronage of the University of Bologna.
The central topic of interest was mobile learning, understood as a new training paradigm based on the use of mobile communication technologies, and for this reason that can be widespread, continuous and multichannel.
In this app, the contributions of the speakers of the conference are collected, both in the form of presentation and of video content. Among the participants in the event we find: the American Chad Udell, the architect of the Float Mobile Learning project and author of sector publications, will illustrate the methods of using mobile devices and applications to integrate the "traditional" training in class or in the classroom; Andrew Dones, also from the United States, will reflect on how to rethink the learning systems with the bees of Tin Can, a fundamental reference model for the realization of e-learning projects, thanks to their many years of experience in their design; With Stefano Maruzzi, author of the recent volume "The end of the era of common sense", instead we will appear on the future, to get an idea of the challenges that await those who deal with distance training, and the inefficiencies to be removed to face better; to Valentina Piccioli, a designer of the training for docebo, leader in Italy on e-learning, who chaired one of the three practical sessions on mobile learning, scheduled during the third and final part of the conference, also bringing the results of a recent research on the subject.
