Hallux Valgus is an innovative application for orthopedic , physiatrists and physiotherapists thanks to which it is finally possible to evaluate angular deformities of ' forefoot .
This application was born from biomedical engineering and specialization in orthopedics and traumatology with the aim of producing a portable measuring instrument , ensuring total reliability and repeatability of the results, and to serve as a convenient store .
Hallux Valgus , in fact, allows to measure , in a totally reliable and repeatable angular deformities of patients with angular deformities of ' forefoot starting from' inclusion of radiographic and photographic images from which measurements are made of the angular deformity before and after surgical correction , providing all ' operator , in an immediate way , sensitive data of the patient.
In addition, with Hallux Valgus you always have with you, not only a measurement tool , but also a convenient archive , searchable at any time , as these measurements are automatically included in the " medical records" of the patient in question.
Hallux Valgus is able to calculate , in real time, the variation ( in degrees ) of the angles of interest between the values obtained on images pre surgical correction and those obtained after surgical correction of images , thus providing a trend of surgical correction of angular .
L ' image processing grants to ' operator the opportunity to acquire a substantial amount of images at the same time to read, to the point of not overloading the system , and of the highest quality.
All data, or part ( at the discretion of ' operator ) related to each patient can be shared via email.
Hallux Valgus also devotes a section to the operating statistics that allow the ' implementation of data within their own personal scientific work .
