Wordtopia is a word search game with a difference. Like other word search games, words can be found horizontally, vertically or diagonally in both directions. Unlike other word search games, when a correct word is selected, the tiles are removed from the board and new tiles above slide down to replace them.
How to play:
To select a word, simply drag your finger over each letter of the word. After the word is removed, new tiles slide into place, the dictionary is searched and the new list of words is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Each individual word that is removed will affect the subsequent list of words and the final result of the game. The game ends when no more words can be cleared.
Wordtopia comes with 1000 different games all based on a set of characters that match the natural distribution of letters in the game language. A full dictionary with more than 60,000 words of 4-10 characters in length is used to find valid words.
You can play more than one game at the same time. If you are having trouble completing any game, you can easily switch to another game. When you return to the first game, you will continue exactly where you were when you switched. You can also restart any game.
Wordtopia is available now with English (combined American and British spelling), Dutch, French and Spanish dictionaries. An update with German and Italian language dictionaries will be released soon.
Scoring:
You score points for each word, the longer the word the higher the point value. The list of words appears by default and may be toggled off but has no affect on scoring.
