This is the new version of one of the most popular games in many countries. The game’s name “ALPHABET” is new. People used to play it on paper. Now, we offer this version for you to play it, on your android devices. It is easy but challenging especially because it contains a countdown. Players can choose the time for each round: either 120 seconds or 90 seconds or 60 seconds.
This game is not multiplayers game. Its objective is to fill five fields with words that commence with a chosen letter. These fields, in the first level, are:
1. Name (first name) of persons
2. Animal
3. Plant
4. Profession or occupation
5. State or Capital
There are 13 levels. Some fields change in each level. For example the field of “Name” becomes “Male Name” or “Female Name”.
In this new version, we added an educational level targeting the younger players. If you choose this level, there will be a hint of pictures, displayed for few seconds, to help you know the answer. You can write the corresponding names or any other correct word in the fields.
You will get 10 points for each correct word, a bonus of 50 points if you fill the five fields with correct words before the end of the round’s time and 100 points if you fill them in less than 30 seconds.
Beside the countdown, the actual version has other features: score and hi-score, sound effects and volume to control it. The built-in word lists contain more than 27000 words. These are the most common names and words. It is probable that you write a word but it will be refused by the game, simply because it is not included in the lists.
The game is optimized for both phones and tablets. It has been widely tested. Nevertheless, it will be highly appreciated if you inform us by email about any bug or any idea to develop it.
