In A Way With Words, you score points by altering words. The greater the difference between the word you make and the word you started with, the more points you receive.
Each turn you can alter the current word by using up to three actions from six different types of action:
- ADD a letter to any position in the word
- REMOVE one or two letters
- REPLACE a letter with a different letter
- MOVE a letter to another position in the word
- SWAP the positions of two letters
- FLIP a sequence of letters
