Experimental release of Thunderword Interactive Fiction interpreter app
Experimental testing app, indicated by the "Δ" in the name and icon. There will be two apps on the Play Store that can both be installed (side by side). One will be experimental and bleeding edge, this one (Δ).
NOTE: Please test on android 5.0 and newer devices. Android 4.4 /sdcard/ permission issues are still being resolved.
SYNOPSIS: Thunderword - An interpreter for interactive fiction stories. language puzzles, scavenger hunts, and novels. Built around Andrew Plotkin's RemGlk library and popular interactive fiction interpreters compiled in native C code. Thunderword has API channels to allow other apps to load stories, share JSON data (RemGlk structure) and encourages experiments with user interface designs and app to app integration.
In these early months of release, a Bluetooth or USB hard keyboard is suggested and a screen size of 7 inches or larger. Considerable labor is still needed to make Thunderword usable on 4" and 5" screens due to the text-entry of parser interactive fiction stories. Developer suggestions are welcome.
Interactive Fiction engine for Z-machine, Glulx and other Glk stories. Git and Glulxe interpreter engines are included, as are Z-code interpreters (Bocfel. Frotz, Nitfol) and others (Scott, TADS, Level9). JSON can be exchanged with other Android apps for both input and output via RemGlk protocol. This includes Thunderword being headless, where secondary apps can have complete control over screen and keyboard layout and presentation.

WARNING: This is an "experimental testing" release. Do not expect it to work, mostly this is a run to start allowing testing on more of the developer's hardware devices.
Once you download it, simply tap on the downloaded story file in your favored file manager app and pick Thunderword as the opening app. Please excuse the currently limited layout. Have fun!
